RAVEN SEALS - APPROVED DOCUMENT(S) E, B & M GUIDES

Royde & Tucker have launched Raven Seals in the UK with a Sealing Solutions Catalogue and three summary Guides about door sealing. Their purpose is to provide designers, contractors and specifiers with solutions with consideration to the Approved Document E, B and M revisions of the Building Regulations.

Raven sealing systems are designed to seal against noise, smoke and fire, weather or draught and light. They transform the way in which buildings are designed and the safety and well-being of the occupants.

Standard Acoustic Control Packages cover Doc E requirements for non-fire rated acoustics and for acoustics combined with or 1 hour fire/smoke protection. These include automatic door bottom seals for acoustic and fire-rated doorsets. The Doc B Guide includes a new range of side flipper intumescent seals, which provide high fire and smoke performance and eliminate any additional force required to close doors sealed with brushes. The Doc M Guide concentrates on the sealing of thresholds, automatic door bottom seals and low resistance fire/smoke seals which facilitate easier access without reducing performance.
